Our schedule

My apologies for our absence from the CPA. We've had a busy spring but things should hopefully be loosening up a bit for the summer. We do have other SGs that we have toons in that need some attention so we've decided to try to split up our time a bit between them.

If you are wondering where we are, here's an evening schedule we are going to try to keep. This should help you to track us down if you have the need:


Monday: Champion {The Biggles} evening

Tuesday: Freedom {TheKnightsWhoSayNi} evening

Wednesday: Virtue {CPA} late evening

Friday: Protector {The Bilateral Commission} evening


If I don't have you on global and you would like that, let me know and we'll get hooked up. For those of you unfamiliar with some of the SGs noted above...

The Biggles: Our silly men-(and women)-in-yellow-and-orange-tights Supergroup on Champion. Very good fun.

TheKnightsWhoSayNi: Our first Supergroup. Excuse me while I get all nostalgic and misty-eyed a second.. *ahem* Ok, all better now. This SG contains my first 50, Necron, my global handle. Originally a collection of friends and relatives it's now a bit on the dormant side as far as SGs go... hopefully this new attention will spark some life back into it.

The Crimson Permanent Assurance: Yeah, I think you guys have a handle on this one. By far the biggest success I've had in an SG in terms of recruitment and prestige. This is the part where y'all get to pat yourselves on the back. We have a pretty wicked base and an incredible amount of prestige in the hold.

The Bilateral Commission: This is a private SG my wife and I started to test ourselves and the devs' statements that bases are attainable by smaller SGs. This SG will remain just two players with moderate play and we'll see what kind of base we can drum up.

Weekends we will be on whatever server the winds have blown us...

Armored Arrow's News Tidbits and Thingies

Here are a few items (thingies) worthy of note:

Thingie #1

Crimson Permanent Assurance Elites

I will be starting a Graduation SG: Crimson Permanent Assurance Elites, or whatever permutation is allowed by max number of characters in an SG name.

Everyone should keep their favorite level 50 toon in the CPA, but try to move other 50s to the Elites. I'll be starting this SG with Boreal Tempest, my second level 50.

Those moved over to the Elites will get their name on a post here on the CPA site congratulating them on entering into the Elites and noting how much prestige they ultimately contributed to the CPA coffers. Make sure you don't quit out of the CPA before I note the amount of prestige for the CPAE roster! Once you exit the SG, the record is gone.

The Elites will have full access to the base portals of the CPA base and may have a little base of their own where extra storage could be set up, if prestige there allows - much like the CPA Reserves base.

The reason for the Elites SG is to keep our ranks fresh with new toons that graduates want to play and keep some slots available to add new people to the SG as we come across them. We have a place to keep inactive alts, but we also could benefit by having a place to put our graduates as well. Since we are beginning to see more and more 50s.. seems like the right thing to do.

Thingie #2

Base Storage

People need to feel free to use the base storage.. and by use I mean use up the stuff that is in there. I just put in a bunch of my ending inspirations from Boreal and Armored as gifts.. some nice greens and wakies in there. I also put in three enhancement tables with the idea of using one to hold 51+s for people who like to push enhancements on their 50s. The other two are for filling full of expensive enhancements that newer toons can pull from freely to get some EZ starting influence if they like. An influence bank of sorts since we cannot have influence accounts to easily transfer influence to starting toons.

So I'd ask that people keep the 51+s for those who wish to kit out their 50s but that people who are starting out on lower level toons feel free to pillage the other two to get some starting influence. I'm hoping to fill them both up with higher and higher level SOs as time goes on so we get the biggest bang for the buck with 'em. Since lower levels can be painful at times.. any edge we can give to the newer folks would be great.. early DOs and SOs can make a big difference!

Congratulations to Copper Cypher for hitting the big 5-0!

Her Fiery Kin-ness is the newest level 50 in the Crimson Permanent Assurance! I believe her next 50 in the CPA will be Skreek. We are starting to get quite a collection of 50s in the SG, great job everyone!

We have a few 40s closing in on The Big Ding so keep your eyes peeled for future posts!

Grats to Boreal Tempest on hitting 50! Boreal now goes "up on the shelf" with the rest of his fine collection of 50s. Harmony Blaze hit 42 this weekend, so look for another GRATS here shortly!

Our latest 50 in the Crimson Permanent Assurance!

And a special thanks to Iggy from me personally for helping Boreal put down Neuron last night. Couldn't have done it without ya.

For those of you who are closing in on or have made 50 in the SG:

We are currently full up in the SG in term of membership, BUT if you have played enough in the SG to bring in a 50 already, you have earned the right to bring in another toon if you like. We have many many idlers who have decided not to be active for months and months. We also have some alts on people who can be moved to the CPA Reserves if necessary. We will bump the idlers we can't reach and shift the alts of those we can reach as needed to fit your new toon into the SG. You've earned it.

If the devs ever make a decision on basing membership on accounts vs actual characters we'll be set anyway. Who knows when they will wake up and smell the coffee on that issue though!

Thanks again to all who continue to earn prestige hand over fist. We have over 4 million in the bank and rising still. One of these days I'll plan out how to spend it wisely and make a little post here about the plans bobbling and bouncing around in my brain.
